Krishak Sahyog Sansthan
Krishak Sahyog Sansthan, Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, makes sure to provide basic amenities and sufficient livelihood resources to the deprived sections of society to make them breadwinners.
Krishak Sahyog Sansthan (KSS), Raisen (M.P) was established in the year 2000 by a group of civic–minded individuals who felt their moral obligation to reach the underprivileged, deprived of basic amenities like access to primary health care, education, child rights, human rights, safe drinking water & sanitation facilities, and above all, sufficient livelihood resources to earn a one-time meal. KSS has been working in two districts, Raisen and Sagar, of Madhya Pradesh. Its aim is to empower the Least Advantaged Group (LAG) including SCs, STs, marginalized farmers, rural women, and people living in poor and vulnerable areas, so that they can be more effectively engaged in making their development path and managing local resources. It has demonstrated significant experience of 23 years in the field of transformation of indigenous knowledge and techniques, women’s empowerment, equality, social justice and civic rights for Dalits, education, health, management of natural resources, entrepreneurship development, and organisational development. KSS has wider experience working with communities from various socio-economic backgrounds and hard-to-reach areas of the Sagar and Raisen districts of MP.
